Why we love Jackie!

Today is the birthday of Jackie Powell - publisher of Baby in the Bluegrass.  Here are 4 things we love about Jackie!

1. Her creative streak.  Jackie is an amazing designer.  Her artistic hand and eye lend themselves to everything she does.  From scrapbooking to publications, everything she touches turns to gorgeous! 

2. Her spontaneity and willingness to do her own thing. Jackie gets involved in numerous activities.  From Zumba - Yoga - Running – Bookclub - Painting - to making aprons, she is not scared to try anything new.  Her motto: ”If it’s not fun, don’t do it!”

3. Her compassion and passion for people in need. Jackie’s willingness to help others and put them first is one of her strongest traits.  She has a huge heart for The Lighthouse Ministries. She spends alot of her time creating projects for this cause. 

4. Her sense of humor. If you know Jackie, you know that there is not a day when she won’t make you smile, whether it’s her favorite SNL skit, the latest story about her husband or two boys, or her bathroom humor – you will surely be laughing out loud!
